On 24 - 27th November 2022 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), IdeaFest returned as a place for transformative collaboration of fresh ideas by Indonesian creative individuals and communities. As the biggest creative festival in Indonesia, IdeaFest 2022 collaborate with more than 180 creatives, more than 30 comics, and more than 30 culinary tenants to bring more than 100 session and hundreds of experiential booth. With the “Reality Re:defined” theme, IdeaFest 2022 becomes the facilitator for those in the national and international creative industry to share ideas, knowledge, entertainment, and various creative breakthrough into a collaboration that bring real impacts.

According to Co-Chairman IdeaFest 2022 Ben Soebiakto, IdeaFest 2022 is the catalyst that propels the Indonesian creative community to create works that give long-term impacts on the nation’s economy. That is why every program in this creative festival wasn’t just entertaining, but also useful and sustainable. In the same vein, the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy of Indonesia Sandiaga Uno also appreciated IdeaFest as a collaborative platform that propels the growth of Indonesia’s creative industry. Considering our creative industry played a big role in the growth of the Indonesian economy, IdeaFest 2022 became a vital point for innovation, adaptation, and collaboration of local creatives.

For four days, IdeaFest 2022 give a more intimate experience. Through the Utopia Blok:verse program, the audience can explore Web 3 and blockchain applications in the industry ecosystem. While IdeaFest Music and Lucu Fest provided entertainment from household names.

IdeaFest 2022 also held the Conference and IdeaTalks programs to allow the audience to re:cultivate their potential and re:connect with various inspirational figures such as renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami who pioneered Clone X - X Murakami with a list of prestigious works and collaboration.

Furthermore, other interesting programs such as Hall of Makers, Manual Food Market, Litter by Litter, Your Voice Matters, Berani Bacot, and NexSpace also ensured that IdeaFest was a festival with variative experiences that satisfy all of its audiences.
